What are the requirements for university entrance (UE) in New Zealand?
University Entrance (UE) is the minimum requirement to go to a New Zealand university. To find out what is required to achieve UE, NCEA students should check the NZQA website. IBD students need to achieve the Diploma with 24 points.

What are the requirements for university entrance in Australia?
Most australian universities convert your final results into an ATAR score.
- For IB students the university will usually take your direct IB score out of 45, but they may convert it to an ATAR - see HERE for the conversion
- For NCEA students the conversion is not as straight forward and depends on the standards you have completed. ATAR scores are based on each student’s best 90 NCEA Level 3 credits with a maximum of 24 credits from a subject. More information can be found HERE
