Scholarships
Going to university is an expensive experience and therefore funding yourself via scholarships is the best way to lessen the financial burden. Below are details from Otago University as an example of course and accomodations fees. All universities will differ slightly, but this will give you an indication of university costs. If you are considering applying to overseas universities it is worth bearing in mind that if you will classed as an international student, then course fees are typically 3-4 times the cost of domestic fees.
There are a range of different scholarships available. Each university will offer there own scholarships and there are also other organisations which offer funding for you to attend university. Please see the links below of places you should be looking at to see which scholarships you are eligible to apply for.
Most scholarships open are June/July and close around mis September. You should be applying for multiple scholarships as this may help you to decide which university you will study at.
